Confidentiality

All of our staff members are trained to maintain the highest level of confidentiality and work in complete confidence when dealing with patient records, messages and prescriptions. At times callers may be asked to identify themselves before giving out information.

The practice is fully computerised. All records held on file and on computer are completely confidential. From time to time, it is necessary to share a minimum amount of information with other NHS Departments in order to facilitate patient care and for audit purposes only.
