General Information about our Appointments System

Our practice operates an appointment system. Patients can make appointment with either Doctor (if on duty) by contacting the surgery via telephone or in person, our lines open from 8:00am everyday excluding weekends.

Appointments are booked ONE DAY in advance, but there are limited number of pre-bookable appointments which can be booked up to one week in advance. If appropriate, you may be offered a Telephone Consultation.

The Practice Nurse/HCA appointments can be booked up to two weeks in advanced.

Patients are responsible for keeping their appointments. Please be prompt for your appointment as if you are more than 10 minutes late you may not be seen by the clinician and be considered as a missed appointment or DNA.

An appointment is for ONE PERSON ONLY. If more than one member of your family needs a consultation – even for an identical condition – please tell the receptionist so that individual appointments can be made.

An appointment is for one condition only. Please do not come with a list of matters to discuss. If you need to talk to the doctor or nurse about more than one thing, please tell the receptionist so that extra appointments can be booked if available.

We will always endeavour to let you book an appointment with the doctor of your choice at a time that suits you best. This is obviously not always possible especially at times of high demand (usually around the school holiday periods) and when doctors are on holiday.

Telephone Consultations

We provide telephone consultations for patients to access clinicians where appropriate. This is a very useful way for patient’s to access a clinician for results, advice or management of their health.

If you would like to book a telephone consultation – please contact reception on 020 3697 1760 between 10:30am to 3:30pm to arrange this.

Haringey Federation Hubs

Appointments will be available on Saturday Mornings which can be booked in the normal way through the reception desk. Patients will be seen at a Local Hub by a Haringey GP/Nurse/HCA.

Home Visits

Whilst we encourage our patients to come to the surgery, where we have the proper equipment and facilities available, we do appreciate this is not always possible. In this respect, if you do need a home visit, you can help us by calling reception before 11:00am.

You may only request a home visit if you are housebound or are too ill to visit the practice. Your GP will only visit you at home if they think that your medical condition requires it and will also decide how urgently a visit is needed. Please bear this in mind and be prepared to provide suitable details to enable the doctor to schedule house calls.
